The Vintage Explosion live concert at Tramshed, presented by Wonderworld Events, bringing a night of rock 'n' roll, soul and rhythm and blues to Cardiff.
The Vintage Explosion play Tramshed on Sunday 8 November, presented by Wonderworld Events. It's part of their 2026 tour of the UK and Ireland, and they're bringing rock 'n' roll, soul and rhythm and blues to Cardiff.
They've come a long way from viral fame. The band has put out four No.1 Apple Music Blues Albums, broken into the US Billboard Top 10 and the UK Top 40, and their latest single, 'I Can't Get Enough of Lovin' You', hit No.1 on Apple Music worldwide. In 2025 they were named the Boisdale Xerjoff Band of the Year, an award presented by Jools Holland in London. They've also released the album Saturday Night, which they're touring this year.
Frontman Will Hitchell is the voice at the centre of it all. Rod Stewart once called him 'the best white soul singer I've heard', and he won the International Songwriting Competition with 'Sweet Love'. The set will draw on that soul and R&B foundation, with the rock 'n' roll side of things taking its place alongside.
