Scottish indie-rock four-piece The View perform live at Tramshed, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut album 'Hats Off To Buskers'.
The View play Tramshed on Saturday 20 March 2027, as part of their Hats Off to the Buskers 20th anniversary tour. It's a Scottish indie-rock four-piece from Roxburgh, with Kyle Falconer, Steven Morrison, Pete Reilly and Kieren Webster at the helm.
The tour centres on their 2007 debut, Hats Off to Buskers, which went straight to number one and earned a Mercury Music Prize nomination. They've since put out five albums in total, and they marked the record's tenth anniversary back in 2017. Over the years they've built a reputation as a captivating live act, blending clashing guitars, swirling melodies, unexpected crescendos and psychedelic vocals.
Across those five albums, the sound has stayed rooted in the indie-rock they started with, and this particular tour brings it back to the record that put them on the map. The Cardiff date is one stop on that anniversary run, so the set will be built around the songs from Hats Off to Buskers.
