A tribute festival featuring live performances of indie legends such as Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender, The Killers, The 1975 and Kasabian, with DJs and performers.
The Big Indie Tribute Festival comes to Tramshed on Friday 19 February, running from 6 pm to 10 pm. It's billed as the UK's biggest indie tribute night, and the four hours are filled with tribute performances from indie legends delivered by a live band, DJs and performers. The line-up includes tributes to Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender, The Killers, The 1975 and Kasabian, among others, so you'll hear a fair spread of the guitar-led bands that have defined the last couple of decades.
Rather than one band playing a set and calling it a night, the whole evening is built around these tributes, with the live band, DJs and performers taking turns to work through the different names. It's a tribute night in the fullest sense, with the focus on the songs rather than the original artists. The bill lists Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender, The Killers, The 1975 and Kasabian as the main draws, and the 'among others' suggests there'll be more to come across the four hours.
