A spectacular live tribute to Taylor Swift with Hannah Jenkins, a four-piece band and dancers, taking audiences through Swift's iconic eras.
Hannah Jenkins brings The Tour of the Eras to The Great Hall, Cardiff Students' Union on Saturday 17 October, a Taylor Swift tribute built around her taking the lead. She's backed by a four-piece live band and a team of dancers, and the set runs through Swift's different eras, from the country roots of the early albums to the pop anthems that followed. You'll hear songs like Cruel Summer, Love Story and Shake It Off along the way, with the costumes changing to match the different stages of Swift's career.
Jenkins isn't new to the stage. She's spent more than a decade performing as a singer in theatre productions around the world, and she brings that background to the show. The production is built around her vocal and visual likeness to Swift, and the way she handles the lyrics. It's described as a tribute crafted by fans for fans, and it's billed as one of the best Taylor Swift tribute shows on the market.
It's a full-band production rather than a solo act, with the four-piece live band and the dancers filling out the sound and the stage. The set moves through the different eras of Swift's songwriting, so it covers the country beginnings as well as the later pop records. The costumes change as the show progresses, following the same eras.
