Irish indie rock and shoegaze band Pebbledash performs live at the Tramshed venue in Cardiff.
Pebbledash play Tramshed on Thursday 15 October, one of their dates in Cardiff as part of Swn Festival 2026. They're an indie band from Cork, Ireland, and these shows run through to Saturday 17 October, so there's a bit of a window to catch them if you can't make the first night.
They've spent the last couple of years building a name as both a live act and a studio force. The support has come from the usual tastemakers — BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X, NME, RTÉ, Clash, Dork, Hot Press and Golden Plec — and they've picked up spots on Spotify editorial playlists like New Music Friday UK and Fresh Folk. 2025 was a big year for them: their track 'Carraig Aonair' was featured in Steven Knight's Netflix series House Of Guinness, and they put out two records in quick succession — the EP Four Portraits Of The Same Ugly House in January and the album To Cast The Sea In Concrete in November. Both did well on the streaming front.
That album also kicked off their Of Seaweed and Sandstone tour, which started at Cyprus Avenue in Cork and went through Dublin, London, Manchester and Leeds. They played festivals too, with appearances at Left Of The Dial in Rotterdam and They're Gonna Be Big in Paris. The Cardiff dates are part of Swn Festival 2026, so they're playing as part of a wider run of shows across the city rather than as a standalone gig.

If you're not familiar with them, the sound sits in the shoegaze and indie rock territory, with a bit of a folk edge to it. The Cardiff shows are at Tramshed on Clare Road, and since they're part of Swn, you'll find them alongside plenty of other acts across the festival.
