Paranormal Activity

Paranormal Activity plays the Donald Gordon Theatre at the Wales Millennium Centre from 19 to 23 January 2027. It's a stage adaptation inspired by the horror film series, billed as a new story live on stage. The plot follows James and Lou, a couple who move from Chicago to London to escape their past, only to find that places aren't haunted — people are. It's a sell-out West End and international phenomenon brought direct from London with brand-new special effects, now on its first ever UK and Ireland tour after an extended London run.

The cast features James Bye (2:22: A Ghost Story, EastEnders) as James, Hannah Sinclair Robinson (The Play That Goes Wrong, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) as Lou, Jo Castleton (War Horse) as Etheline Cotgrave, and Caroline Faber (Network, The Heiress) as Carolanne. Between them, they've worked across some of the biggest West End hits of the last few years, so there's a fair bit of stage experience on the bill.

Before you book, there are a few things to keep in mind. The show is age-guided 15+, with no under-2s and all under-16s seated with an adult aged 18 or above. There are audience warnings for flashing and strobe lighting, strong language, and possible loud bangs, so it's definitely on the jumpier side of things. The running time is about 2 hours 20 minutes, including one interval.

As for when to catch it, there's a good spread across the week: Thursday and Saturday have matinees at 2.30pm and evening shows at 7.30pm, with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday running at 7.30pm. That's five days of performances, so you can pick whatever fits your schedule best.
