Mamma Mia! is at the Donald Gordon Theatre in Cardiff Bay from 30 November to 5 December 2026, for one week only. It's the musical set on a Greek island, with the songs of ABBA running through it.
The story follows Sophie, who's on a quest to find the father she's never known. That search brings her mother face to face with three men from her distant romantic past, on the eve of a wedding they'll never forget. It's billed as irresistibly funny and has been playing to audiences around the world.
It's staged at the Wales Millennium Centre, that striking building in Cardiff Bay with the copper façade. It hosts everything from West End musicals to opera, ballet and local performances, and its November programme often features touring shows. The show is for ages 8 and over, with no under-2s, and all under-16s have to be seated with an adult aged 18 or above.

There are access performances throughout the run: British Sign Language on 3 December, captioning on 4 December and audio description on 5 December. Evening shows run Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with matinees on Thursday and Saturday at 2.30pm. The running time is about 2 hours 35 minutes, including an interval.
