A high-energy tribute show to the rock legends AC/DC, performed by the acclaimed act Livewire, featuring their full catalogue from the Bon Scott era to PWR UP.
Livewire bring their AC/DC show to Tramshed on Friday 2 April 2027, with doors opening at 19:00. They've been on the road for over 20 years, and the set runs for two hours, working its way through the band's catalogue from the Bon Scott era classics through to Back in Black and the 2020 release PWR UP. It's staged with cannons and a bank of Marshall amps, so it's a full-stage setup rather than just a few songs.
The line-up is built around five people taking on specific roles: Podge Blacksmith as Brian Johnson, Simon Davies as Angus Young, Dan Mosley as Malcolm Young, Eddie Clark as Cliff Williams and Paul Alwin on drums. They describe the show as blending Blacksmith's vocal power, Davies' virtuosity and Mosley's rhythmic accuracy to recreate the live experience only AC/DC themselves produce, with Alwin on drums mixing Phil Rudd's groove with Chris Slade's energy.
