It's My Shout Awards

The It's My Shout Awards are back at the Donald Gordon Theatre in the Wales Millennium Centre on Sunday 31 January 2027. It's one of the bigger nights in the Welsh creative calendar, returning to the WMC to put the spotlight on emerging filmmaking talent from across Wales.

The night is a televised awards ceremony, so it's built for the screen as much as the room. It celebrates a year of broadcast content produced by It's My Shout, with the awards going to the filmmakers coming through the programme. There's a red carpet and a star-studded guest list, bringing together people from the screen, stage and online worlds, and it's one of those evenings where you'll find yourself rubbing shoulders with leading industry executives and creatives.

If you're planning to bring the family, there are a few things to keep in mind. The age guidance is 8+, with no under-2s allowed, and all under-16s have to be seated with an adult aged 18 or over. The whole thing starts at 7pm and runs for about two hours, with one interval in the middle.

So, it's a televised awards night for new Welsh filmmaking talent, held at the Donald Gordon Theatre on 31 January, 7pm, with an interval included.
