Glasgow indie artist Dylan John Thomas performs live at the Tramshed, presented by SJM Concerts.
Dylan John Thomas plays Tramshed on Sunday 6 December, with the night presented by SJM Concerts. He's a Glasgow indie artist who first stepped into the wider spotlight supporting Gerry Cinnamon on a sold-out UK tour, playing to more than 30,000 people across several dates in Amsterdam and Germany. From there, he set his own records at Glasgow's King Tuts, where his headline show became the fastest-selling King Tuts debut for a Scottish solo act.
His live reputation grew after sharing bills with Noel Gallagher, The Courteeners and Gerry Cinnamon at the Isle of Wight Festival, and playing the Truck and Y Not festivals. He now draws forty million streams and 60,000 tickets with songs that pull from a few specific, recurring themes: love and regret, faith and fatalism, rejection and connection, realism and id. It's that mix of the romantic and the bleak that defines the work, and the Cardiff date will be his headline set, with support to be announced.

He'll be playing at Tramshed on Clare Road, a 1,000-capacity room, so it's a decent-sized space rather than a small club. The show starts at 7:30pm, and tickets start from £11, which includes the booking fee. It's age 14+, and under-16s need to be accompanied by an adult.
