London R&B singer Bel Cobain performs at the Tramshed venue as part of the Sŵn Festival 2026 lineup.
Bel Cobain plays Tramshed on Thursday 15 October, as part of Sŵn Festival 2026. The London R&B singer is one of the first names announced for the festival's 19th edition, which runs from 15 to 17 October across several Cardiff venues. Sŵn is the city's showcase of local and international talent, spread over three days and staged across a number of venues rather than in a single site, so you'll find different acts popping up in different spots around town rather than everything being under one roof.
Cobain's set is one of the festival's opening nights, and it sits within Cardiff's wider Music City Festival, which runs for two weeks from 2 to 17 October. That means Sŵn is just one part of a longer stretch of music across the city, with the festival itself taking up the final three days of that window. Head of Music Adam Williams said the 2026 lineup is filled with incredible new music and that it's been uplifting to work on this edition.

Because Sŵn works as a showcase, the bill is built around a mix of local and international names, and Cobain is one of the first revealed as part of that. The festival's 19th edition kicks off on the 15th and runs through to the 17th, with the Tramshed date falling on the first night. If you're planning to see more than one act, it's worth keeping in mind that the stages are spread across the city, so you'll be moving between venues over the three days rather than staying in one place. The show starts at 7:00 PM on Thursday 15 October at Tramshed.
