Chef and cookbook author Yotam Ottolenghi cooks live on stage to present his new book 'Simple Too', with a copy available to collect at the venue.
Yotam Ottolenghi brings his new cookbook Simple Too to the Cambridge Corn Exchange on Wednesday 9 December, starting at 7:30pm. It's part of a tour taking the book across the UK, Europe, the US and Canada, with the evenings shifting between conversation and cooking.
On stage, Ottolenghi cooks live, working through vegetable-forward meals, tray-baked options and desserts designed to be made in under 30 minutes, cooked in one pot or prepped ahead. The recipes follow the philosophy of the Ottolenghi Test Kitchen. He also takes questions from the audience, on things like how to make weeknight cooking more exciting and what the building blocks of a well-stocked pantry are.
Simple Too is a companion to Simple, the book that helped define a certain way of cooking over the last few years. Ottolenghi says it grew over two years as a response to our noisy, bustling world, and it sits alongside Flavour, another of his bestsellers. A hardcover copy of Simple Too is available to collect at the venue for £30.00.
