Award-winning, board-game style interactive murder mystery presented by Danyah Miller, recommended for ages 7 and over.
Danyah Miller brings The Mystery of Cambridge Junction to Cambridge Junction on Sunday 8 November, with two shows that day: one at 12:00 and another at 14:30. It's an interactive murder mystery built like a board game, and the description bills it as 'better than a good game of Cluedo'.
Rather than just watching from your seat, you're put on the case alongside Miller, who hands out evidence, lets the room pore over video footage and stands suspects in the interrogation chair. It's a production from Miller, DMS Productions and Little Angel Theatre, and it comes with a post-show Q&A featuring Miller herself and author Robin Stevens. The show runs 70 minutes with no interval, so it's a straight run from start to finish.
There's a bit of a pedigree behind it: it was developed with groups of 6-11 year olds to make sure it hit the right balance of playful and suspenseful, and it picked up the Best Family Arts Activity award in 2025. Robin Stevens, the bestselling author of the Murder Most Unladylike series, worked as a writing consultant on the piece, and critics have called it a dynamic production and a true family experience. It's recommended for ages 7 and over, so it's one that works as much for kids as it does for the adults they're coming with.

Both shows are in J2, which is unreserved seating, so you'll want to arrive a bit early if you're keen on a particular spot. Tickets are £15.50 for adults and £12 for children, with 15% off for a group of four, provided there are no more than two adults in the bunch. With the 12:00 and 14:30 slots, it's a Sunday afternoon thing rather than a late one.
