Night of emerging local bands on the J1 stage at Cambridge Junction, part of the Fiver Fest series.
The Fiver returns to Cambridge Junction on Friday 13 November, with five local bands taking turns on the J1 stage. The line-up for the night is The Fifth Flaw, Jango, Mirada, Wisteria, and Triggered.
If you've been around the Cambridge scene for a while, you'll know the format. The Fiver is one of the Junction's longest-running nights, and it's built around giving emerging local bands a chance to play the J1 stage. It's not a standalone gig, either; it feeds into Fiver Fest, the wider festival the night is part of. If you're in a band yourself and looking for a slot, the organisers invite you to get in touch with Gary Brown.
The venue is on Clifton Way, and it's been sharing the power of live performance since 1990. The J1 is a standing room, so it's a night for standing and watching the bands come through one after another. With five acts on the bill, you'll hear a good stretch of local music in a single evening.
