Christmas concert with a live band playing festive classics, dazzling performances and festive visuals at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.
Step Into Christmas returns to the Cambridge Corn Exchange on Monday 14 December, the venue's Christmas concert for the year. It's a live band night built around festive classics, and they're billing it as bigger, brighter and more festive than before. The set runs from heartwarming ballads to upbeat anthems, with the live band taking the lead on a good mix of the two.
There's a fair bit of ground covered in the setlist. You'll hear the big ones like 'All I Want for Christmas Is You', 'Last Christmas' and 'Jingle Bell Rock', alongside 'Let it Snow', 'White Christmas' and 'Do They Know It's Christmas'. 'Stay Another Day', 'A Winter's Tale' and 'Merry Xmas Everybody' round out the list, so it's a broad run of the songs that usually turn up this time of year. The live band handles them all, with the visuals running alongside.
The Corn Exchange describes it as the most magical, feel-good show of the year, and they're framing this edition as an expansion of what they've done before. The whole thing is built around the spirit of the season, with the live band and the visuals working together to carry the night. It's a one-off evening, so if you're planning to go, it's worth getting your tickets sorted in advance.
