Weekly drop-in professional-level contemporary dance class led by Bar Groisman, Elly Trent and Bethan Siddaway.
Cambridge Junction is running a professional-level contemporary dance class every Monday morning at J2, and it's open to anyone looking for professional-standard training on a drop-in basis. It's not a one-off: the sessions run from 28 September to 7 December 2026, so you can pop in once or make it a regular part of your week. The class runs from 10.15am to 11.30am, which is a handy slot if you're used to working around a typical day.
Three teachers lead the sessions: Bar Groisman, Elly Trent and Bethan Siddaway. Having three of them running things means you're getting a range of perspectives rather than just one person's way of doing things, and it keeps the energy high across the whole term. The focus is contemporary dance, and they keep it at a professional level, so it's aimed at dancers who want to be pushed rather than a casual taster session.
One of the best things about it is the drop-in format. There's no need to book in advance and no long-term commitment required; you just turn up and join in. If you're not sure how your schedule is looking for the autumn, you can just come along on the Mondays that work for you. It's also free, which is a rare find for a professional-standard class in the city.

If you're bringing someone younger, there is one rule to keep in mind: under-14s must be accompanied by an adult. Otherwise, it's just you and the studio. You'll find it at J2, inside Cambridge Junction (CB1 7GX), every Monday from 10.15am to 11.30am, free and drop-in, running from 28 September through to 7 December.
