Stand-up show by award-winning comedian and Saturday Night Live UK star Paddy Young, who brings his new tour to Cambridge.
Paddy Young brings his new show, Will Sir Be Laughing Alone?, to Cambridge Junction on Friday 13 November. He's an award-winning stand-up and a face from Saturday Night Live UK, where he recently hosted 'Weekend Update', and this is the brand new hour he's taking out on tour.
If you haven't come across him yet, he's worked across sketch and stand-up. He's appeared in Mitchell & Webb Are Not Helping and Everyone Else Burns, and he hosted his own stand-up special, Hungry. Horny. Scared.. The critics have been on board too: The Independent called him 'one of British comedy's most intriguing new voices' and Rolling Stone put him 'on the road to stardom'.
The show draws on his own life. He says he's fallen in love more times than he can count and fumbled every one, and it leans on his experience in sketch comedy. He's a Scarborough native, and he admits he's sick of the London and Edinburgh intelligentsia being the only ones allowed to hear his thoughts. It's a show that also played at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe, so it's had a proper run before coming to Cambridge.

It's in J2 at the Junction, which is unreserved seating, so you'll want to get there a bit early if you've got a particular spot in mind. The show starts at 7:30 PM, tickets are £24, and it's ages 16+.
