Stand-up show by Harriet Kemsley about dating, mushrooms and her mission to embrace her inner floozy.
Harriet Kemsley brings her new show, Floozy, to Cambridge Junction on Friday 20 November. It's a solo hour that takes the chaos of her own life and turns it into a comedy set about dating, mushrooms, and her mission to embrace her inner floozy. The show is presented by Plosive Live in association with United Agents.
If you haven't come across her before, Kemsley is a multi-award-winning stand-up who's been working the circuit for a while. She was Funny's Funny Female Comedian Of The Year in 2011, and took New Act of the Year in both Bath and Brighton in 2012. Since then, she's been a regular on the telly, with appearances on Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You?, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She also co-hosts the Single Ladies In Your Area podcast, so the dating side of Floozy sits right in her wheelhouse.
She's picked up some strong reviews along the way. The Scotsman called her 'extraordinarily talented', The Guardian noted that she 'packs in high calibre jokes', and The Skinny described the show as a 'masterful hour', with EdFest Mag calling it 'effervescent'.

It's a single-act night, so it's just Kemsley on stage for the full hour. The show runs at 7:30pm in J2, which is unreserved seating, so there's no need to rush for a specific spot. Tickets are £21.50.
