Stand-up night headlined by Bobby Mair, with Darius Davies, Eloise Heath and Josh Taylor, MC'd by Ali Warwood.
Bobby Mair headlines the Commoners' Comedy Club at The Portland Arms on Friday 6 November, with Ali Warwood on MC duties. Mair is a Canadian stand-up based in London, and he's not coming alone: Darius Davies, Eloise Heath and Josh Taylor are on the bill too, so it's a full night of stand-up rather than just one name.
If you haven't come across Mair's work, he's a good place to start for a bit of context. He starred opposite his wife in the sitcom Bobby and Harriet: Get Married, which aired on Vice and Comedy Central, and he's been a regular on Comedy Central's Roast Battle — including a battle with his wife that pulled in millions of hits online. His TV credits run from 8 Out of 10 Cats on Channel 4 to Never Mind the Buzzcocks on BBC2, and he's opened for Doug Stanhope, Bill Burr and Bill Maher. He's played Just For Laughs in Montreal three times, and once appeared on Katie Hopkins' show just to give the fee to everyone she hates.
