Strictly 18+ boogaloo night with upbeat 60s, 70s and 80s jams, colourful decor and special visuals at Cambridge Junction.
Boogaloo makes its Cambridge debut at The Junction on Thursday 28 January, a late-night club session that runs from 11pm until 2am. It's billed as a magical, free-spirited, hip-shaking shindig, and the music policy does the heavy lifting: upbeat jams from across the 1960s, 70s and 80s, so you'll be dancing to three decades of dancefloor fillers rather than one specific era. The night is aimed at party-goers and dance music lovers, with a strictly 18+ door policy and photo ID required for entry.
It's not just about the music, though. The room gets a proper makeover for the night, with creative, colourful decor and special visuals running throughout to keep the vibe going. Between the upbeat set and the visuals, it's built as a dancefloor night rather than a stand-up gig, so it's one where you're expected to move.
The date falls during Independent Venue Week, which is a good time to get into The Junction. The night takes place in J1, the venue's club space on Clifton Way, so it's tucked away from the main stage and set up for this kind of late one.

Doors open at 11pm, with last entry at 1am and a 2am curfew, so if you're coming from elsewhere in the city, you've got a fair window to get there before the door closes. Tickets are £9.00.
