Stand-up show by Abi Clarke, known for her observational humour, on her 'Just Tell Me When It's Over' tour.
Abi Clarke brings her new show, Just Tell Me When It's Over, to Cambridge Junction on Monday 1 February 2027. It's an hour of rapid-fire jokes about everything that goes wrong in her life, and the Cambridge date is one stop on a 22-date tour.
Clarke is known for her observational comedy, and the North West End summed her up as 'that one chaotic gremlin friend we all have'. The material comes from her own life: she talks about deciding to become a wrestler, attending a games night at Nicole Scherzinger's house, and being broken up with at a National Memorial. It's not all light-hearted, though; she draws on personal experiences of loss, illness and breakups, and the title Just Tell Me When It's Over fits that mood of wanting to get through the rough patches.
The reviews have been strong. The Scotsman called the humour 'compelling', The Independent described it as 'hilarious and relatable', and The Times noted that she 'has star quality'. If you've never seen her, that's a fair idea of what to expect: a set that finds the funny in the messy, personal stuff.
