Stand-up comedy show 'Swanky' from the award-winning comic Sindhu Vee, presented by Plosive Live.
Sindhu Vee brings her new show Swanky to Lantern Hall at the Bristol Beacon on Thursday 29 October, with a second date on Friday 30 October. It's her first time back in the city since her 2021 show Alphabet, which earned her an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination.
If you've come across her work recently, you'll recognise her from Live at the Apollo, where she's become a regular face. Since Alphabet, she's been appearing on QI, Have I Got News For You and Would I Lie To You, and has taken on acting roles in Netflix's Sex Education and Matilda the Musical. Swanky is her latest stand-up show, and she describes it as her most sophisticated, intimate and swanky one yet. The material is built around falling through the cracks you didn't make, avoiding the friendships you don't want and embracing the self-love you need.
The run is presented by Plosive Live in association with PBJ Management. It's reserved seating, so you'll have a proper seat for the night rather than standing room. There's an age recommendation of 14+.
