Stand-up comedy show by Nish Kumar, with BSL interpreted performance available.
Nish Kumar is playing Beacon Hall on Friday 16 October, with his show Angry Humour From a Really Nice Guy.
If you've followed him for a while, you'll know where he sits. He's billed as the UK's leading political comic, and The Guardian has called him the pre-eminent comic political polemicist of our time. He's the former host of the BBC's The Mash Report and co-hosts the podcast Pod Save the UK. And then there's the other side of the record: he's remembered as one of Taskmaster's greatest losers, which is a good summary of the two modes he works inβthe sharp political commentary and the self-deprecating, slightly hapless persona.
The show is presented by Plosive Live in association with PBJ Management. It's reserved seating, so you'll have your own spot for the night. There's a BSL interpreted performance available, too. A couple of things to keep in mind before you book: there are haze effects used during the show, and the content warning notes that some comedians use very strong language and express controversial opinions. It's recommended for ages 14 and over.
