St Mary's Church, Kemp Town, is an inclusive Anglican church in the heart of the Kemp Town area of Brighton. It is one of Brighton's architectural glories, affectionately known as the 'Cathedral of Kemp Town'. The present Grade II* listed building was built in 1876-8 to designs by Sir William Emerson in a Gothic Revival style, featuring a modest brick exterior that conceals an interior of surprising volume and warmth, noted for its Victorian stained glass and fine fittings. It serves as a place of worship and an atmospheric performance venue with a good acoustic.
