Yhwh Nailgun are playing Resident Music on Tuesday 25 August, and it's a bit of a different one. They're performing their new album, Magazine, live in its entirety, and there's a signing session to follow. The record itself runs just eleven minutes, so the set is a short, concentrated thing rather than a full-length gig.
Because the album is so brief, the whole thing fits into a tight window. They're a Resident-bound act, and the night is billed as a special one: they play Magazine from start to finish, and then stick around for a signing session once the music's done. If you've already got the record, you can bring it along; if not, copies are available to collect on the door, so you can pick up your copy and get it signed in one go.
It's an all-ages show, and the room is small, with a capacity of 180, so it's a relatively intimate setting for a night that's as much about the signing as it is about the music. The whole thing runs from 18:30 to 20:30, with doors opening at 18:30, so you're in and out in a couple of hours.
