A festive Christmas wreath-making workshop with mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas music.
The Round Georges are running a Christmas wreath-making workshop across three dates in late November and early December, at their space on 14-15 Sutherland Road in Brighton. It's a hands-on session where you make your own wreath from fresh seasonal foliage, ribbons and decorations, and you take it home with you when you're finished. No previous experience is needed, so you don't need to have a creative bone in your body to get one sorted.
They've set up three different slots to suit different schedules. There's a full day on Sunday 29 November, from 09:00 to 18:00, if you want to spend a proper Sunday morning and afternoon on it. If you'd rather do it after work, there's an evening session on Friday 4 December from 18:00 to 20:30, and a mid-afternoon one on Saturday 5 December from 15:30 to 18:00. All three are at the same venue, so you just pick the one that fits your week.
It's not just about the wreath, though. They've got Christmas music playing in the background throughout, and every spot comes with a complimentary glass of mulled wine — with a non-alcoholic version available if you're not drinking — and a mince pie. They pitch it as a cosy way to get into the festive spirit, and since you leave with something handmade for your own door, it's a bit more than just a few hours of crafting.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Brighton and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
