Maxxi Soundsystem headlines the Therapy Winter Party at The WaterBear Venue on Saturday 5 December, part of a house music night that runs from 9pm through to 3am the next morning. It's a long one, taking you well past midnight and into the early hours of Sunday, so there's plenty of room for the dancefloor to build.
Maxxi Soundsystem takes the main slot, with Affy Go Bang and Brunonumerouno on the bill alongside. The whole night is house music, and with three DJs across six hours, the music stays on the go from the first drop until the lights come up. If you've got a late one planned, it's a good stretch of a night.
Therapy Winter Party started as a project by friends, for friends who love house music and each other. They describe it as a party that welcomes everyone and just wants you to have a really good time, and that's the spirit they're bringing to this one. It's less about a specific scene and more about the music and the people who come to hear it.

The WaterBear Venue is at 169-170 Kings Road Arches, right in the heart of Brighton. Tickets are £14, and the music runs from 21:00 on Saturday until 03:00 on Sunday morning.
