A hardcore punk night with a lineup covering music from 1992 to 1996, hosted by Lovebug at The Waterbear.
Lovebug are back at The Waterbear on Friday 4 December for their Christmas Party, the act's second event of the year. It's a late one, starting at 22:00 and running through to 03:00 on Saturday morning, so you've got a good few hours of music to get through.
The night is built around a hardcore lineup that reaches back into the nineties, with the set covering music from 1992 to 1996. That's a five-year stretch of dance music to work through, and since it's a Christmas party, it's the kind of thing that works best when you're there for the long haul rather than just popping in for a quick one. If you've got a soft spot for that mid-nineties sound, this is exactly the kind of night that lets it breathe.
It's the second time Lovebug has stepped out this year, and the Christmas party is the one they've put their name to, so it's a bit more than just another date in the calendar. Early-bird tickets are already on sale, and while the guide prices are yet to be confirmed, they're sitting between £5.00 and £7.00 via Skiddle. It's a low entry for a night that goes well past midnight, especially if you're planning on staying for the whole thing.
