The Secret Comedy Club Saturdays

The Secret Comedy Club is running its Saturday night on 26 September at The Secret Comedy Club in Brighton, part of a run of four Saturdays throughout the month. It's one of their regulars, with a new headliner and a new MC every week, so the line-up changes from one Saturday to the next.

If you've never been, the club bills itself as Brighton & Hove's only grassroots comedy club running five nights a week, with shows every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and special bills on select Thursdays and Sundays. It's won Best Brighton Fringe Venue and describes itself as the city's friendliest and most intimate room—a cosy art-meets-comedy space with a strict no-heckling policy and ages 16+. The Saturday night is one of the mainstays, and the club has a history of hosting 'Live at the Apollo' regulars among its past acts.

This particular date is the last of the September run, which also includes the 5th, 12th and 19th. If you're looking further ahead, the Saturday nights continue into October on the 3rd, 10th and 17th. The September shows run from 19:00 to 22:30, while the October ones start a bit later, from 20:00 to 22:30.
