The Offie Mag Social returns to ALPHABET on Friday 18 September, the latest edition of the monthly club night run by the independent music publication Off Licence Magazine. It's a regular Brighton fixture now, and the last one was another sell-out, so if you're planning on it, getting your ticket early is a good shout.
The night is held at ALPHABET, 11 Dyke Road, BN1 3FE, and the format is straightforward: a small independent club, a high-quality soundsystem, and a dancefloor that gets proper attention. Offie Mag DJs and friends take over the crow's nest, moving through funk, soul, house, deep house, disco, electro, footwork, jazz and whatever else sounds right on a good soundsystem. It's a wide-ranging set that doesn't stick to one corner of the dancefloor, so you'll hear a fair few styles across the course of the night.
