A new production with 4K visuals and LED screens taking audiences on an adventure around the cosmos, presented by Adrian West.
The Night Sky Show comes to the Theatre Royal on Saturday 9 January 2027, with the new production titled A Sky Full of Hope. It's presented by astronomer and author Adrian West, who goes by VirtualAstro online. He's written astronomy and space pieces for the BBC, the Met Office and the National Trust, and his new book is The Secret World of Stargazing.
This is a new production building on the success of the original show. It uses 4K visuals, LED cinema screens and cinematic flythroughs to take audiences of all ages on a fast-paced trip around the cosmos. It's less of a lecture and more of a theatrical night, blending science with imagination, pop culture and storytelling. Along the way, it covers the International Space Station, nebulae, telescopes, our solar system and the age of dinosaurs. West describes it as warm, funny and endlessly inspiring.

It's suitable for general audiences aged 8 and over, so it works as a family outing as much as a night out for anyone with a passing interest in space. The show starts at 7:30pm at the Theatre Royal on New Road, BN1 1SD, and standard tickets are £30.00.
