Afternoon comedy show featuring a famous TV comedian with happy hour drinks all afternoon.
The Comedy Experiment is back at Caroline of Brunswick on Saturday 11 July, and this one comes with a proper name above the bill. It's an afternoon comedy show, which puts it in a different slot than your usual late-night stand-up, and the headliner is a famous TV comedian you'll recognise from Live At The Apollo and Mock The Week.
If you're not following the TV side of things, the room has a track record of bringing in big names. Previous headliners have included Maisie Adam, Joe Wilkinson and Harriet Kemsley, so the bill usually holds its own. The afternoon slot means you're in and out while it's still light, and the drinks run on happy hour all afternoon, which is a nice touch if you're planning to stay for a few.
It's a regular fixture, too, rather than a one-off. The Comedy Experiment runs from 11 July 2026 through to 1 January 2028, so if you miss this one, there'll be plenty more to choose from over the coming months. The venue is Caroline of Brunswick, 39 Ditchling Road, BN1 4SB, just up from the city centre.

Standard tickets are free, and the happy hour drinks run throughout the afternoon. It's a Saturday, so you can head in, catch the set, and still have your whole evening ahead of you.
