Stand-up show by comedian Chloe Petts at The Caroline of Brunswick in Brighton.
Chloe Petts is bringing a work-in-progress show to The Caroline of Brunswick on Tuesday 17 November, starting at 7:30pm. It's a night of new material, the kind of set where a comedian works through fresh bits and tests out jokes in front of a live audience before they're polished for a full run.
Petts is one of the city's most consistent comics, and this comes after a busy few years. They've spent the last while running sold-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe: Transience in 2022, If You Can't Say Anything Nice in 2023, How You See Me, How You Don't in 2024, and Big Naturals in 2025, which premiered to a sell-out run and rave reviews before touring throughout 2026. This is the next step in that cycle — back to the drawing board with a new set of material.
Beyond the Fringe, Petts has a long track record. They're a Pleasance Comedy Reserve alumnus, were shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Award, made the final of the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards 2017, and came runner-up in the Funny Women Awards that same year. They've supported Frank Skinner and Ed Gamble on the road, and you'll recognise them from Have I Got News For You, Live at the Apollo, and Bake Off: An Extra Slice. They've also hosted a segment on Sky Sports News and won Pointless Celebrities.
