A bespoke cinematic dining experience with a multi-course menu inspired by the film Elf, served in sync with on-screen moments.
Taste Film is bringing Elf (2003) to the Brighton Harbour Hotel this December, and it's not your usual cinema trip. The whole thing is a cinematic dining experience: you watch the film while a multi-course menu, inspired by the story, comes out course by course, timed to match what's happening on screen. So when Buddy's eating on screen, you're eating too.
The menu takes its cues from the plot and the film's New York setting. There's beef and cheese for the faux Santas, spaghetti for the sugar friends, and a classic New York street-vendor hot dog given a festive twist. For those keeping an eye on the healthy side, there's an option built around the four essential food groups. It's a multi-course meal, so you'll be eating through the film rather than just grabbing a snack at the start.
It's a family-friendly one, rated PG and suitable for ages five and up, and the room is wheelchair accessible. The hotel is at 64 Kings Road, right by the seafront, so it's an easy spot to get to if you're coming from across town.

There are plenty of dates to choose from across the run. It kicks off on 20 December with a matinee from 13:00 to 15:15 and an evening session from 18:00 to 20:15. Then it runs on 21, 22, 29 and 30 December from 19:00 to 21:15, with 23 December offering both a 14:00 to 16:15 matinee and a 19:00 to 21:15 evening slot, and 27 and 28 December from 19:00 to 21:15. Tickets start from £88.
