A season of music, movement and storytelling classes for very young children, led by the award-winning company Fideri Fidera.
Fideri Fidera are running a season of children's classes at Komedia Studio in Brighton, starting Friday 4 September. It's called Story Magic, and it's built for the very young: music, movement and storytelling in a 40-minute format. Each session opens up a children's story through original songs, classic nursery rhymes, games and puppets, and it's recommended for ages 9 months to 4 years.
Fideri Fidera is an award-winning children's theatre company, and these sessions are led by performers Natasha and Jack. Their work has picked up some strong reviews along the way: one critic called the performer 'the most gifted story-teller I've ever seen' (Edinburgh Life with Kids), and another described the energy and enthusiasm as 'staggering' (Primary Times).
It's a proper season, not just a one-off, so you can come back as often as you like. There are two sessions every Friday morning—one at 10:00 and one at 11:00—and doors open 10 minutes before each. The dates run through the autumn and into the winter: 4, 18 and 25 September; 2, 9, 16 and 23 October; 6, 13, 20 and 27 November; and 4, 11 and 18 December. Each session lasts 40 minutes.
