If you are looking for something to do with the little ones in Brighton, the theatre company Fideri Fidera is running a series of sessions called Story Magic at the Komedia venue. It is a structured activity designed specifically for children between the ages of 9 months and 5 years, focusing on a mix of music, movement, and storytelling. Each session lasts 40 minutes and is led by artists Tashi and Jack, who incorporate original songs, classic nursery rhymes, games, and puppets into the experience.

The sessions are scheduled for Fridays at 10:00 am and 11:00 am, with specific dates confirmed for May 2026, including the 1st and the 8th. If you decide to go, it is worth noting that the event takes place in the Komedia Studio. Access is strictly through the Regent Street entrance (BN1 1UL), as the usual Gardner Street entrance is not in use for these workshops. While they do accept walk-ins if there is space available, booking in advance is recommended to ensure a spot.
Regarding the costs, the standard price is £7.50 per child, with a reduced rate of £3.50 for siblings. Adults accompanying the children and babies under 9 months old can attend for free. It is a straightforward setup that aims to provide a creative space for toddlers and young children to engage with music and stories in a local setting.
