A unique after-party hosted by the Heavenly Recordings label featuring DJ sets from Pete Wiggs and Heavenly Jukebox, following Saint Etienne's farewell concert.
Saint Etienne are playing their farewell concert at Brighton Dome on Friday 25 September, and the night doesn't end when the main show finishes. The after-party takes place in the Studio Theatre on the same site, running from 10.30pm until 2am. It's a separate ticket from the main gig, so you can add it on if you're planning to stay late.
The party is put on by Heavenly Recordings, the label Saint Etienne have been with since their debut album came out in 1991. It's billed as a send-off for the band, and the lineup reflects that. Pete Wiggs, one of the three members of Saint Etienne, is on the decks, joined by Heavenly Jukebox and other guests from the label. The new signings warm up the room first, and then the band themselves take over to DJ into the early hours. The night is described as completely unique, and no unaccompanied under-14s are admitted to the venue.

For context, the after-party follows the main event in the Concert Hall, where the indie dance and electronic pop trio play with special guests Marsy and Gwenno. If you're going to both, you'll be moving from the larger hall over to the smaller Studio Theatre for the late session. Tickets for the after-party start from £26.50, and it runs from 10.30pm until 2am.
