Peppa Pig and friends return in a brand new live stage show featuring music, puppets, and the introduction of baby Evie Pig.
The Theatre Royal Brighton is adding Peppa Pig's Big Family Show to its summer schedule for 2026, with performances set for Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd July. This new stage production, developed by Ashley Baker Davies, follows the family dynamic many will recognise from the series that has been running since 2004. The plot focuses on Peppa, George, Mummy Pig, and Daddy Pig as they get ready for a new addition to the family, Baby Evie Pig. The show uses a mix of live performance, music, and puppetry to bring the characters to life, maintaining the simple aesthetic that younger audiences are used to seeing on screen.

The timings are spread out to accommodate different routines, particularly for those with toddlers. On the Tuesday, there is a single showing at 16:00. Wednesday offers more flexibility with three separate slots at 10:00, 13:00, and 16:00. Since the performance lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, it’s designed to be a straightforward introduction to the theatre for pre-school children. It’s a common choice for a first-time theatre visit because the format is tailored to shorter attention spans, focusing on adventure and songs rather than a complex narrative.
Regarding the logistics of visiting the venue on New Road (BN1 1SD), the theatre is quite central and easy to reach. It’s a ten-minute walk from Brighton railway station, and several local bus routes stop nearby. For those driving, the closest car parks are at Church Street and The Lanes. Inside, the box office opens 90 minutes before each show, and there are bar and cloakroom facilities available. Tickets are priced from £15.00, with a standard guide price of £19.65. If you are planning to go as part of a larger group of ten or more people, there are specific booking arrangements for that. These mid-week slots in July are the confirmed dates for the Brighton leg of the 2026 UK and Ireland tour.
