A creative storytelling workshop using drama and movement, specifically for trans, non-binary, and intersex people aged 50 and over.
If you are looking for a space to connect with others and explore personal narratives, there is a storytelling workshop coming up on 4 June 2026 that might be of interest. It is specifically designed for trans, non-binary, and intersex people who are 50 or older. The session is being held at The Old Courtroom on Church Street, and it focuses on the idea of sharing stories—whether they are based on real life or are entirely fictional—to explore themes like community and finding joy.

The workshop is facilitated by Noah Abdel Razek, who works in community theatre, and it is an initiative brought together by Queer Heritage South and The Clare Project. The project itself is supported by Marlborough Productions and funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. One of the practical aspects of this session is that it is designed to be accessible; you do not need any prior experience in theatre, movement, or storytelling to participate. The activities are described as optional and adaptable, so you can engage with the process in a way that feels comfortable for you.
The event starts at 15:00 and, while it is free to attend, you will need to book your place in advance. The organisers will be providing refreshments during the session as well. Regarding the venue, The Old Courtroom is wheelchair accessible, but if you have specific access requirements or questions about the space, you can reach out to the organisers directly at archive@marlboroughproductions.org.uk. It is a straightforward opportunity to spend an afternoon in a supportive environment, focusing on creative expression alongside peers.
