A creative workshop for mothers and daughters to design and decorate reusable cotton tote bags, guided by a qualified art tutor.
If you're looking for a low-key, creative way to spend an evening with your mum or daughter, Creative Club Brighton is hosting a workshop next month that sounds like a nice change of pace. This event, titled the Mother & Daughter Tote Bag Painting session, is designed as a relaxed craft workshop, perfect for beginners, and is specifically timed to tie in with Mother's Day celebrations. The goal of the two-hour session is straightforward: participants get to design and decorate their own reusable cotton tote bags. While there will be guided inspiration available, the focus is on allowing total creative freedom for whatever design you choose.

The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026, running from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. They are setting up shop at Puzzle Bored, located at 27 New Road in Brighton and Hove (BN1 1UG). It’s worth noting that the venue is described as 'neurodiverse friendly.' All the necessary materials and tools are included in the ticket price, and the session is led by a qualified art tutor, ensuring everyone has the support they need to create something they like. A practical detail for those planning their evening: the event is BYOB, meaning you can bring your own drinks, and glasses will be provided on site.
Since this is a paid workshop, tickets are required for entry. The cost is £30.00 per person. Once you’ve finished painting, you get to take your unique, hand-painted bag home with you as a lasting souvenir of the evening. If you book tickets but need to cancel later, Creative Club Brighton offers refunds, provided the cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the 7 PM start time. They cannot offer refunds after that window has closed.
