Out of Chaos are bringing their adaptation of Macbeth to the Theatre Royal on New Road, with three performances across two days: Monday 18 January at 18:30, and Tuesday 19 January at 10:00 and 13:15. It is a full production playing at major theatres and festivals in the UK and internationally, suitable for wider audiences as well as schools.
They've reimagined Shakespeare's tragedy as an 80-minute, high-octane version that keeps the intensity and intrigue of the original. Two award-winning actors take on more than twenty roles between them, so you'll see them switching characters on the fly throughout the run. Out of Chaos is an award-winning company with performers from around the world, and they combine physical theatre with text work, vibrant characters and original music. The production as a whole is in association with Oxford Playhouse, and these performances are presented in conjunction with ATG Creative Learning.
