Katie Pritchard + Juliette Burton

Katie Pritchard and Juliette Burton are bringing their brand-new shows to the Caroline of Brunswick on Monday 27 July, playing as a double-bill. Both are award-winning Edinburgh Fringe veterans, and this is a free night, so you get two full sets for the price of nothing.

Katie Pritchard presents Sir Elton Scone, a madcap comedy gameshow adventure that previously earned a nomination for Best Variety Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. It's a bit of a hybrid, pulling together songs, a game show, and a suit made out of a pair of curtains. If that sounds like a lot to fit into one set, it's because it is.

Juliette Burton follows with Villain Era, a fast-paced comedy that looks at how fictional villainous women have taught her how to be a 'baddie'. From there, she turns to what she calls 'the REAL dragons': inequality and bad sex lives. It's a bit of a shift in tone from the gameshow side of the night, so the two shows sit quite differently next to each other.

Between them, they're two Fringe regulars, and this is a double-header of new material rather than a best-of. The night starts at 19:30 at the Caroline of Brunswick, 39 Ditchling Road, BN1 4SB, and it's free.
