DJ Jimmy Lager plays a mix of punk, ska, soul and alternative 80s music on the dancefloor.
Just Lust is back at The Rossi Bar on Saturday 5 September, with Jimmy Lager on the decks. It's a DJ club night, so the focus is on the dancefloor rather than a stage, and it's the first of a run that keeps going through the autumn and winter.
Lager's set pulls from a few different corners: punk, ska, soul and alternative '80s. It's a broad mix, so you'll hear the faster, brash side of punk and ska sitting alongside soul and the alternative side of the eighties, and he's not sticking to just those four, as the full bill is described as a mix of punk, ska, soul, alternative '80s and more. It's the kind of night where the music changes gear throughout the evening, and the dancefloor is where it all lands.
If you can't make this one, there are three more dates to keep in mind. Just Lust returns to The Rossi Bar on Saturday 3 October, Saturday 7 November and Saturday 5 December, so it's a regular fixture for the rest of the year rather than a one-off. If you're in the mood for this sort of thing, you've got four Saturdays to work with.
