A group art exhibition featuring the work of three local female Brighton artists: Suzie Harrison, Chloe Martin and Pello, with laser-cut, abstract and digital art.
Joyride is a group art exhibition running at Gallery40 in Brighton's North Laine from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 July. It brings together three local female artists, and because they each work in a different medium, the walls end up holding quite a few different things at once.
Suzie Harrison works in wood, using a laser cutter to get her shapes and then spray-painting over them. Chloe Martin does vibrant abstract paintings, so there's a fair bit of colour on the walls. Pello works with digital art prints, and hers are music-inspired, so the whole show pulls from laser-cut wood, abstract painting and digital print in one space.
If you want to catch it early, there's a private view on the opening night, Friday 17 July, starting at 18:00. Pello's contribution goes beyond the walls too: she'll have limited and open edition prints and greeting cards available to buy, so you can take something home rather than just looking.

Admission is free, and the show runs across the weekend, so you can drop in on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Gallery40 is in the North Laine, BN1 4AQ.
