The band operates within a post-punk and power pop framework. The current lineup brings together several musicians with distinct backgrounds: Beth Arzy, known for her work with The Luxembourg Signal and Trembling Blue Stars, handles vocals and percussion. Shaun Charman, formerly the drummer for The Wedding Present and The Popguns, contributes guitar and vocals. They are joined by Kerry Boettcher on bass and vocals, Mark Matthews of The Dentists on guitar, and Tom Levesley on drums. Their recorded output includes five 7-inch singles, two EPs, and two LPs. Among these is the album Bowerbirds and Blue Things, which includes a vocal contribution from Eleni Poulou, formerly of The Fall. Their most recent release is a 10-inch vinyl record capturing a live session they performed for the Riley & Coe programme on BBC6 Music.
They will be supported by the London-based art-pop band Firestations. This performance comes shortly after the release of their new album, International Dust, which is set to be published in October 2026. It is a straightforward bill, focusing on the intersection of these two bands' current projects. The event is aimed at those interested in post-punk, power pop, and art-pop sounds. If you are planning to attend, standard tickets are priced at £13.75.
