Three of Brighton's underground house crews join forces for a pre-Christmas house music session with eight DJs.
House United takes over The WaterBear Venue on Saturday 19 December, a pre-Christmas session that brings together three of Brighton's underground house crews on one dancefloor. It's a big one for the city's house scene: three crews, eight DJs, and one room, all running for around five hours. The night starts at 22:00 and carries on until 03:00 on Sunday morning, so it's a proper late one, well into the early hours.
Across those five hours, the music moves through house, breaks, tech house, acid house and electronic, rather than sticking to one sound. It's a broad stretch of the house spectrum, and with eight DJs sharing the decks, the night has plenty of room to shift gears as it goes. Among the names on the bill are POoK, Lola (UK), MysD and Paul Hilditch, with the three crews providing the bulk of the line-up.

The venue is The WaterBear Venue, over at 169-170 Kings Road Arches, so it's right down by the seafront. It's an over-18s night, and tickets are £5 in advance through Skiddle. If you're planning to go, it's worth getting yours sorted early rather than leaving it to the door. The whole thing kicks off at 22:00 on Saturday 19 December and runs through to 03:00 on Sunday morning.
