Halloween Silent Disco

Silent Social are bringing a Halloween silent disco to The British Engineerium on Saturday 31 October, as part of the 'October Unpacked: Halloween' programme. It's an 18+ night, and fancy dress is encouraged, so it's a good one if you've already got a costume sorted.

The silent disco format means you've got two music channels to switch between, both led by resident DJs. One is Pop Classics, Guilty Pleasures and Dance Bangers; the other is Rock Anthems, Indie and Alt-Rock. Both cover the 80s, 90s and 00s, so you can flip between the two throughout the night. Silent Social describe themselves as 'top Silent Disco purveyors', and the two-channel setup is their standard way of working.

The venue is part of the draw here. The British Engineerium is a Victorian building from 1866 that used to be a steam pump room, and it now pairs that industrial history with a modern dance floor. The spooky atmosphere of the space is meant to play as much of a part as the music, and with the fancy dress, it fits the Halloween date. It's on The Droveway in Brighton and Hove, BN3 7QA.

Doors and the bar open at 19:00, and the silent disco runs from 19:30 to 22:30. Tickets are £18.00.
