Ghostly Gatherings

Ghostly Gatherings are running at Preston Manor throughout October, with tours on Fridays the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th, plus a new date on Friday 13 November. Each one runs from 8pm to 11pm, and the whole series is for ages 16 and over.

The manor is one of the most haunted houses in Brighton and in southern England, and that's the starting point for the night. You're greeted with a glass of wine and some nibbles on arrival, and then one of the museum's expert ghost guides leads you through the rooms after dark to uncover the house's eerie stories and secrets. The tours themselves run for two hours, so you've got plenty of time to take in the rooms and the tales that go with them.

It's part of the manor's wider 2026 season, which runs from 14 March to 30 November and reopens with new surprises, and it also sits within the 'October Unpacked: Halloween' programme of after-dark events at Brighton & Hove Museums. So if you're in the mood for something a bit spooky this autumn, there are plenty of dates to choose from across October and into November.

Tickets are £36, with a 15% discount for members. The manor is at Preston Manor & Gardens, Preston Drove, Brighton BN1 6SD, and the tours run from 8pm to 11pm on Fridays 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 October, and Friday 13 November.
