Headline show by Gegenpress, a South East London band blending noise rock, industrial, post-hardcore and slowcore, presented by Erebus Promotions.
Gegenpress are back at The Pipeline on Thursday 20 August, their first Brighton headline show in a while. They've been steadily becoming a staple of the South East London 'Windmill' scene, so this is a chance to catch them on our side of the coast rather than trekking over to SE13.
If you haven't come across them yet, their sound is a melancholic mix of noise rock, industrial, post-hardcore and slowcore. It's a broad spread of influences to pull from in one set: the abrasive edge of noise rock and industrial sitting alongside the heavier, more structured side of post-hardcore, and the slower, more spacious feel of slowcore. That combination has earned them a following, and it's what they'll be bringing to the stage here. The night is presented by Erebus Promotions, and it's an 18+ event.
