House music party featuring DJs Alex P and Mikee Hollywood at the Waterbear venue in Brighton.
Brighton’s nightlife calendar has a new date set for 18 April 2026, as the Waterbear venue at The Kings Road Arches (BN1 1NB) prepares to host an event titled FTV House. Organised by HW Events Brighton, the night is designed as an intimate house party within the space formerly known as Funky Buddha. The venue is equipped with a Funktion 1 sound system, which will be the primary setup for the evening’s performances. This event is specifically focused on house and tech house music, catering to those who follow the local electronic scene.

The musical programme for the night features Alex P, a figure with a long-standing history in the house music industry, including his involvement with Space Terrace and various radio platforms. He will be performing alongside DJ Mikee Hollywood. The evening is scheduled to begin at 22:00 with a set from guest DJ Charmain Love. Her appearance at the Waterbear follows the daytime event 'The Funk Phenomenon', which is taking place at the neighbouring club, Quarters. This sequence of events allows for a transition from the daytime programme directly into the night session.
Regarding the practical side of the event, tickets are currently being sold through Skiddle. Prices are set between ÂŁ9.00 and ÂŁ11.00, with early bird options available for those who secure their entry in advance. Because the Waterbear is a smaller venue, the number of tickets available is limited, which defines the capacity for the night. The event is aimed at adults who are familiar with the local club culture and are interested in the specific sound and lineup provided by the organisers. There are no additional guest DJs confirmed for the night session beyond those already mentioned, keeping the focus on the scheduled artists.
